Karim has held roles at a number of leading investment management firms and financial institutions in Canada including Questrade, RBC and East Coast Fund Management. Most recently, Karim worked at a single family office in Toronto, where he held a number of different responsibilities including conducting due diligence on Funds, Private and Public companies. Karim holds a degree in Business Economics from York University, a Masters of Financial Risk Management from the University of Toronto and is a CFA charterholder.

Sami began his career in the oil and gas industry where he held Process Engineering positions at Suncor Energy, in addition to working with EPC firms such as The Shaw Group, Technip and Petrofac. He later joined Validere as an early stage employee and investor, and had the privilege of contributing to its amazing growth as a technology company for the energy industry.
